The Centre d'Action Bénévole St-Siméon/Port-Daniel welcomes you to their internet website to learn about the various activities and services which they provide.

It is a non-profit organization recognized as a charitable one, formed on august 30th 1985, 31 years ago. The goal of the Centre d'Action Bénévole St-Siméon/Port-Daniel is to promote volunteer work and to answer various needs in the community.

At present, we have more than 243 volunteers who are active in the community, and in 2015-2016, 34 912 hours were given to the Centre.

  • Frozen meals

    Frozen meals


    A service of frozen meals is available at the Centre d’Action Bénévole St-Siméon/Port-Daniel. It’s for elders 65 years older with loss of autonomy, people who are sick or handicapped living at home, because everyone need varied and balanced nourishment. This service will complement the existing Meals on Wheels. Frozen meals are offer throughout the year and will fill a gap for the other days of the week when there are no Meals on Wheels delivery.

    Meals on wheels consist of delivery of a hot and balanced meal once or twice a week to the home of an elderly and/or handicapped person, depending on the development of the service and the need of our area.

    Meals on wheels are available in the municipalities of St-Siméon, Bonaventure, New Carlisle, Paspébiac, Hope, Hope Town, St-Godefroi, Shigawake and Port-Daniel.
